I am so thrilled to be able to introduce a new writer to the AmandaBeth Online team! Kristin is an amazingly talented entrepreneur and creator of two of my favorite blogs addressing modesty and style. We "met" online, through our blogs and other social networks, and I was immediately impressed with how unafraid Kristin is to dig into the deep issues, while always retaining a strong fashion sense. I am so happy that she has agreed to be a part of things over here - she's a multi-talented and busy lady.
Without further ado, here's a little bit about our new fashion-y contributor! :)
I am a southern girl through-and-through, blessed to live in the Bluegrass state with two rowdy dogs and my amazing husband who is a practicing physician. I love having the privilege of keeping a home while running a business that combines two of my favorite things: weddings and art. You can see some of my work at Swank Aisles.
When I'm not busy being a wife and business owner I blog about life at Beautifully Adorned and fashion (what else?) at The Faithful Fashionista.
I absolutely love fashion, especially when it's modest, feminine, and classic, but I haven't always felt that way. I have seen firsthand the effect of immodest and unfeminine dress on myself and others, and I've seen the change that can happen in a person when you're willing to dress with God's purpose in mind. The world has drifted so far away from real womanhood, and I truly believe that we can make a statement with our dress that will help others understand what God's design for women really is.
Because of my own experience I love sharing the endless possibilities of modest and feminine fashion with other women. Allow God to change your closet, and you simply won't believe how much it will change your heart! It's all Him. :)
I'm sure we'll be hearing lots more from Kristin over the next few months! Be sure to check out her sites and give her a warm welcome!
