Olympic Fashion Continued

Over at NBC Olympics there is a Best of the Blue Carpet photo gallery. You can see who's wearing what in the world of leotards and get some interesting opinions. I have to agree with them for the most part, although I, for one, am not really huge on the shiny spandex that everyone is wearing and really prefered the crushed velvet look the Chinese women are featuring. I won't post a picture of them, cause in this competition they're our enemies (so much for all the "harmony" they tried to promote in the opening ceremony! lol) but I think their leotards were absolutely exquisite, with the delicate collar and cascading gold flowers.

Team USA had a rough night, fighting back hard from injuries and mistakes. But I love them all the more for all the tough things they've had to deal with and I know they can win tonight. They had an awesome pep talk after the qualifying rounds were complete and know that will help (that and Marta Karoly - you gotta love her! :).


The bubble gum pink leotards they wore in practice were quite something, but I kinda like them! Lets you know that the USA is around and doing their thing! The qualifying outfits were a tad annoying - the star was just too big, I think. But I'm glad they showed up in red, white and blue. Here's hoping they sport something real classy tonight as they go for GOLD!!! :)
