Scarlet Accent Ensemble and Green Cape
Never one to sit still, Marian is everywhere, armed and dangerous...

This is one of Marian's more unique ensembles and has quite a few fun details. The main part of the dress appears to be constructed from a brown/grey suede - the fabric is made up of a bunch of small pieces stitched together - which adds a rugged look to the outfit. The bodice is constructed with the usual princess seams. It has a sweetheart neckline shape, which crosses over the left front. The sleeves are three-quarter length and the top of the sleeve is folded down to reveal a red/orange lining (it almost looks like felt or suede) and show a bit of Marian's shoulder. The top of the armhole, the bottom of the sleeve and the neckline are piped with more of the same material.
I know the "corset" is separate from the bodice, as I could see the red piped bottom edge of the bodice in one picture. The bodice probably has a center front opening. It's hard to see, but I think the corset laces up the back. It is made from a heavy grey fabric (wool?) that makes it hard to see how many small pieces it contains, but it is heavily boned, which is clear from how well it keeps it's shape. The top and bottom edges are piped using the same red/orange fabric.

The overskirt consists of four front pieces and four back pieces, which are long, flared panels with small, silver eyelets running down both edges (ending about 8 inches from the hem). The eyelets are laced through to about halfway down the skirt, where they are tied and the rest of the panels are left hanging open. There is obviously some sort of waistband to stabilize the skirt (the panels may even be sewn closed near the top), but the lacing, in essence, keeps it all together.
On the back of the skirt (this could actually be attached to the bodice instead) there is a small piece of fabric that is gathered together, creating a ruffled "peplum" over the back. (This is strange addition to the ensemble and one I could do without.) Marian also has an underskirt of a bright red satin, taffeta or other lightweight drape-y fabric. She wears brown boots.
The green cape is actually worn earlier in the series, with Marian's "Castle" Gown, but since it is most often pictured with the "Scarlet" ensemble, I waited to post the images. This cape, like her others, is a basic, full style; with a hood, and ending about mid calf. The fabric is varying shades of green, in abstract "leafy" designs and appears to be a lightweight, crisp material (the neckline ties are made from the same). A narrow, dark green, horizontally striped trim edges the hood and front opening. There is also a small scalloped trim that looks like "lace", but appears to be a sort of suede. The cape is lined with a light (almost gold) colored fabric, that has small "speckles" all over it.

Blue "Corseted" Outfit
Marian meets a new threat, in the shape of an old family friend...

The top of this ensemble is probably made from a lightweight stretch material, just like an ordinary T-shirt. The fabric is a light blue with white print flowers. The top has a soft V neckline and small cap sleeves.
The skirt is hard to see, but looks like it is another bias cut skirt (like in the Teal Ensemble). The fabric is a blue/grey and has stripes running down it (diagonally, since it is cut on the bias) in darker shades. The corset has some decorative buckles or closures on the front (hard to see) but actually laces up the back with cording. It appears to boned at the front, back, side front, side back and sides (how's that for confusing? ;).

Robin Hood, Season 3, is currently airing in the UK and my sister Lydia and I are going all out and reading every spoiler. We wanted to be surprised for the first couple of seasons, but after some interesting plot twists in #2, we may not even watch season 3 unless is proves to be a step up from the last. What are your thoughts?
