Secondhand Fashion Week may be over, but there's always interesting fashiony things going on. Today I discovered that Bloomingdale's is hosting an exciting Tote-ally Green design contest, with some killer prizes. :)
Here's the scoop.... click HERE to design your own reusable tote bag (you know, those awesome ones that everyone is using for their shopping these days?). I had fun creating mine... although it's rather predictable. ;)
Once you've completed your design it will be automatically entered in the contest, which has a splendiferous grand prize of a $2,000 shopping spree at Bloomingdale's (tell me that doesn't sound amazing?) and the small fact that your design will be SOLD on their web site. Um, yeah... that's pretty awesome. ;)
Plus - the entrant with the most votes on their design will win a $1,000 shopping spree. And, Bloomingdale's is selecting a favorite design each day... the creator will receive a $100 gift card. :)
So, get over there and get that fabulous design rolling (and share a link when you're finished - I want to see it :)! You can also spread the word about your entry by tweeting and using the hashtag #Bloomies . I know that a lot of you have great fashion sense (last week's event proved it) and are capable of a winning design. Oh yes, and if you'd like to vote for my entry while you're at it... I won't complain. ;)
The contest runs from April 7-25, 2010 and is in association with handbag designer Rebecca Mirkoff. Those are her designs in the above photo. Cute, aren't they?
