I don't think anyone can deny that there were a lot of fabulous entries in the event and that choosing your own favorite was difficult. But at last the votes are in and we now (officially ;) have four wonderful bloggers who have been crowned "the best of"the event. Congratulations to them all!
As well as being listed here, the four "winners" will be featured in the sidebar and all receive an "I was voted the best of..." banner for their blogs. :) Be sure to check out their wonderful posts. You can view the other finalists and a link to all the entries here.

My friend Amanda's hosting another on-line event over at her fashion blog...this time it's all about Maid Marian. My desired entry plans were too big and didn't line up with our schedule. We just got back from a trip ;-(, yet I couldn't let this opportunity slip by without posting something small, as Maid Marian has become a more personal icon for me having married Robin...I mean, Jordan of Locksley...

In honor of the event, Maid Marian's Wardrobe, sponsored by AmandaBeth Online, I am posting some photos of my medieval dress. This dress was made with 100% linen (oh joy...wrinkles). The sleeves have slats where a little white peeps through. I also found a very beautiful trim for the belt...

And just a random note - it looks like AmandaBeth Online just hit 200 "followers!" Thanks a bunch to all who have subscribed through Blogger and to everyone else who visits the blog. Out of curiosity - how do you "follow" the blog? Any favorite subscription sites?
Most importantly, is there any way I can make it easier to read or subscribe to the posts here at AmandaBeth? Where the"email subscription" box used to be I added some bars that allow you to subscribe through dozens of different sites and applications (as well as email) - be sure to check them out and let me know if there's something else you'd like to see!
Thank you so much for all of your support and I hope you'll keep visiting the blog... who knows what we'll cook up for the future. ;)
