I totally adore the vibrant colors, subtle details and the yummy "earthiness" that many of the pieces hold. My skin tone makes me especially thrilled with deep, warm colors - it's amazing how a really delicious color can totally make an outfit.
- Long, flowing skirts are romantic and delightfully old-fashioned. I love this navy-blue one from Elegant Vogue.
- The long, brown tunic shirt would look adorable with a pair of jeans and, like the embroidered tank, could easily be worn over a simple T-shirt for more modesty.
- LOVE these shoes - ok, so I am a wedges girl (rarely see a pair I don't like). Check out these neat details (*sigh* for ribbon ties) and here's shoes that are adorable and practical.
- Don't forget to grab a unique bag when you're leaving the house! The embroidered tapestry tote or the brown leather messenger are such cool pieces!
- How about some amazing jewelry to add the finishing touches? Love the garnet bangle bracelet, the dark stone in the ring and the elegant cross necklace (so gothic!).
- Oh yeah, and this is a great example of Harem Pants done right! (As opposed to these. :P)
Do you have any favorite "bohemian" pieces? Any that you plan to pick up this summer? Remember, accessories go a long way in creating a look, so it's always good to take regular looks through your items with fresh eyes. You never know if the perfect thing has been waiting there all along, while you've been thinking that you need to go and find it. (Sound like a familiar life lesson, anyone? ;)
