Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying this week of "4th of July recovery" and are managing to stay cool. It's been over 100 degrees since yesterday and sweat is literally trickling down my brow as I write this. Not very glamorous, is it? I'll be looking forward to this afternoon's predicted thunderstorms to make things bearable once again.
I shot some photos this morning, and think they came out looking deceptively "cool." (lol) Even in a lightweight sundress, a breezy knit shrug and open shoes I was sweltering. It seriously felt like I was wearing one of the new autumn designer collections that I've been receiving half a dozen email notifications for every day (just looking at them makes me hot - lol :P).
Actually, this outfit feels rather "boho" which, if you remember, isn't usually my style. But I guess having "naturally-curly-hair" brings out my slightly less traditional side every once in a while... ;)
What I'm Wearing:
- Sundress by Mossimo Supply Co. - passed on to me with the tags still attached
- Knit Shrug by Dress Barn - on sale last year for about $15
- Wedge Sandals by What's What - on sale last month for $25
So, how are you "chilling" this week? And what do you wear when the heat really gets to you? All I can suggest today is running your wrists under cold water to bring your body temperature down. (Here were my fashiony ideas a few weeks back.) Any brilliant tips of your own to share?
God bless you all!

P.S. There's now a yummy little "retweet" button at the end of each AmandaBeth post. Please use it to spread the fashion-y love! :)
