Ok, so maybe I'm just a girly-girl, but I adore tulle skirts. They bring back fond memories of when I dreamed of being a ballerina and remind me of the years that the Disney princesses were the most interesting film fashionistas in my mind. It can't be denied that there is something completely feminine and romantic about tulle skirts. There's a soft whisper when you spin 'round, and each ethereal layer ripples at the gentlest breeze. Not to mention that while this piece of clothing is nearly a thing of fantasy, it can also be completely trendy and of the moment.
I've found some fantastic tulle skirts at YesStyle.com, an Asian fashion website with absolutely beautiful clothing. This Ribbonne Tulle Skirt comes in black, white and a soft dusty pink, and makes the perfect piece for any occasion. Say hello to summer parties by pairing it with a delicate sleeveless top.
One thing I love about this Sweetbox Tulle Skirt is how adaptable it is to any season! Throw on a sweater and a cute hat when the weather gets chilly and it still looks seasonally appropriate, despite it's filmy material. Yay for versatility! :)
If you want a vintage look, this Peplum Tulle Skirt is just darling, accented with a sweet waistband and contrasting piece at the hem. Here you can also see an example of how leggings and knee socks can change your look (and I think they're just adorable). Be sure to click all the links for dozens more looks you can pair with the skirts - it's amazing how well they work with everything!

When purchasing your own tulle look, be sure that the material is soft and supple and not hard and itchy. There is nothing romantic about a scratchy and stiff skirt, unless you want to be the wicked stepmother of the ballet!
Oh yes, and if you want to get a real "Cinderella" reaction, there's nothing like a sweeping full tulle skirt to cap off your evening ensemble. Try it. :)
