Give me a boat, to take me places I could not get to on my own.

Allow me an empty space, where I can be silent and listen 

to my own heart beating.

Show me how to take the time to stop... and smell the roses.

Give me the strength and means to pursue the adventure.

Make me dream, so that I can imagine how it feels to fly.

Grant me a shelter, when it rains too hard.

Surprise me with places of mystery and forgotten secrets.

Delight me with friends, to share the joys of life.

Give me the strength to walk courageously, always.

Modern Day Fairytales...

This is one of my favorite shots from the Royal Wedding. Yes, I watched it. Yes, I loved it. And yes, I am now one of millions of people who is crazy about "Princess Kate." It was pretty much the wedding of the century.

And yes, I'd also love to go on and on here about the event, but have been so busy that I haven't had the time to write up a detailed report. I'll be posting some of my favorite photos from the wedding on my Tumblr with some quick fashion-y thoughts, if you'd like to check it out. But I thought the blog deserved (at the very least) an acknowledgement of the very special occasion that took place. I wish William and Kate a long and happy life together... and I am definitely a fan. ;)
