The reason birds can fly and we can't is simply that they have perfect faith,
for to have faith is to have wings.
~ J.M. Barrie
It's no secret that J.M. Barrie is one of my favorite authors. His words are magic.
I wrote the lines to have faith is to have wings on my arm with a sharpie a month ago. It all faded away, except the faintest trace of two words. Have Faith.
This is my life reminder right now. When things have been busy, and exhausting, and my burdens have seemed heavy. (And knowing that they really aren't, when compared to the sufferings of the rest of the world, can sometimes aggravate the load. I'm being honest here.) And the moments when schooling seems futile, and money unimportant, and all I want is to do something that counts... I've got to remember, it's all part of the Master's plan. Even baby steps propel me forward. And the sunlight comes down through the trees and lights my way.
Faith is a miracle, and it's building me wings.
I can't wait to use them.

Has your faith been tested or strengthened in the last month? Can you feel your wings coming in? :)
